Age Related Medicine

The term 'Older person' is very broad. While many people are blessed with very robust health & fitness as they age, more commonly advancing age is associated with greater ill-health and a decline in fitness. As such, older people are often on more prescription and non-prescription medications. This course facilitates Pharmacy staff understanding and offering best care to their older patients. This course was originally developed for the Irish Institute of Pharmacy.
