Gastrointestinal Conditions

Disorders of the 'Gut' or Gastro Intestinal Tract (GIT) commonly present in community pharmacies.  In order to respond to your patients' symptoms, the starting point is to have an understanding of the anatomy and functions of the gut and the conditions that may affect gut function.  This initial module, focuses on routine gastrointestinal disorders.  In the majority of cases, short term conditions can be managed with Over The Counter (OTC) Medicines.  Follow-on modules focus on the sale and supply of these OTC Medicines.
